Wild Garden "Taste of the Mediterranean" Expands

    Wild Garden adds new products to the “Taste of the Mediterranean” line: new marinades, new pilafs, and now, all new Simmer Sauces.

    Since the successful launch of the “Taste of the Mediterranean” product line in 2016, consumers and retailers alike have been asking for more. Wild Garden obliged and crafted two all new marinades. The Moroccan Chermoula is bursting with the flavors of cilantro, parsley, garlic, and herbs, ideal for seafood and poultry. The Lebanese Za’attar has the earthy, nutty flavors of thyme and citrus that is perfect for lamb, beef, and poultry, as well as savory baked goods.

    Two all new pilafs also join the line of heat and serve products. The Dill & Fava pilaf has fragrant wisps of fresh dill weed and tender, young fava beans folded with basmati rice for a delectable side dish. The Rice & Potato pilaf is reminiscent of comfort food in rural Lebanon. Tender chunks of potatoes with aromatic herbs and spices make this a satisfyingly delicious side dish.

    Wild Garden adds simmer sauces to showcase a heartier side of the Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. The new simmer sauces save consumers time by eliminating the labor-intensive simmering and blending of ingredients to provide a true, 1-step cooking application. The Lebanese Tahina blends roasted sesame tahini simmered with a variety of citrus fruits, garlic, and spices, begging for a delicate piece of white fish or vegetables. The Tunisian Shakshouka is a chunky tomato sauce with garlic, sweet peppers, and herbs. Poach seafood in this delightful sauce or with eggs for an exotic brunch.
