With 20 grams of protein per pint and way less sugar than your morning acai bowl, this unicorn in your freezer is ice cream reinvented. Snow Monkey Superfood Ice Treat is a healthy, indulgent snack, packed with sustainably-sourced, all-natural, plant-based ingredients free from major allergens like dairy, nuts and gluten. Full of functional superfoods and proudly vegan, paleo and non-GMO, Snow Monkey is as guilt-free as it gets.
Founded to Fuel Adventures
When co-founders Rachel Geicke and Mariana Ferreira developed the early recipe for Snow Monkey Superfood Ice Treat in their Boston University apartment kitchen, both women were balancing school, athletic endeavors and busy lives. They were looking for an option that was as healthy as it was convenient and delicious. Initially funded by a passionate community on Kickstarter, Snow Monkey is now sold throughout Southern and Northern California with plans to expand online and nationwide in 2017.
