Earnest Eats Debuts New Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereal Line at Natural Products Expo West 2017
Leader in Whole Food Nutrition Launches New Line of Functional Breakfast Cups
Solana Beach, Calif. (March 7, 2017) – Earnest Eats, creators of whole food happiness, will debut a new line of Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereals at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif. at booth #2411. Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereals are the world’s first breakfast cups to combine probiotics and grass-fed whey and plant-based proteins for a powerfully nourishing breakfast. Alongside the new line, the brand will also be debuting a new gluten-free certification and packaging designs for its cornerstone line of superfood Hot & Fit Hot Cereals.
“Oatmeal is a morning ritual of health and centering, yet one not commonly associated with protein, so there is a gap in the breakfast category,” said Andrew Aussie, president and founder of Earnest Eats. “Our new Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereals are turning traditional oatmeal on its head by combining the power of plant-based protein from sacha inchi nut and grass-fed whey with the benefits of one billion CFU of probiotics in one nourishing cup. Consumers no longer have to choose between a breakfast that gives them a healthy boost of protein or one chock-full of probiotics.”
Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereals are crafted with a supergrain blend of slow-release carbohydrates, including oats, quinoa and amaranth. With 80 percent more protein than the average protein oatmeal cup, Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereals boast 18g of protein from grass-fed whey and sacha inchi nuts, plus one billion CFU of probiotics per 2.5 oz. cup for clinically proven protein bioavailability plus digestive health. That’s as much active cultures as a cup of yogurt! Unlike other protein cereals on the market, Earnest Eats Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereals do not contain soy protein isolate. The cereals are also Non-GMO Project Verified, vegan, and gluten-free. Earnest Eats Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereal single-serve cups have an SRP of $2.99 and are available in the following flavors:
- Super Pumpkin Spice – A warming seasonal favorite, great all year round with the perfect balance of real pumpkin, cinnamon and other bold spices.
- Toasted Coconut Almond – Coconut lovers rejoice for this superfood cereal filled with nourishing ingredients and the superfood power of coconut.
- Cherry Vanilla Bean – Sweet cherry pairs perfectly with the enriching aroma of real vanilla bean in this sophisticated twist on breakfast.
In addition to the new Protein + Probiotic Hot Cereals, Earnest Eats will also unveil a new look for its popular line of Hot & Fit Cereals, while now featuring a gluten-free certification across the entire range. Inspired by Earnest Eats’ promise to deliver powerfully nourishing foods on demand, the new packaging showcases the real, whole-food ingredients that are packed into each delicious cereal. Each cereal cup visually reinforces the brand’s commitment to health, centered on simplicity and high-quality nutrition. The clean and modern design also features a front-of-pack callout denoting the new gluten-free recipes for Mayan Blend, Asia Blend and American Blend, which join Superfood Blueberry Chia as gluten-free.
