Our Story

From our professional lives to our camping adventures, we were always looking for portable, healthy, great tasting foods. We wanted real food that was minimally processed, without the additives and fillers you find in most snacks.

We got started in the kitchen, funneling homemade oatmeals and smoothies into bottles. Then we discovered the convenience of pouches, which allow you to keep foods non-perishable without the use of artificial preservatives. Turns out, the spouted pouch is not just for kids’ snacks or apple sauces – adults love it too!

Inspired by nature, we sourced all kinds of superfoods from farms and mills, and set up a tent at our local farmers’ markets. As we’ve expanded, we maintain our hands-on approach to sourcing ingredients with the goal of creating the leading healthy, portable snack brand. As we continue to bring consumers increased snack offerings for their busy lives, taste and quality always remain our top priority.

Our Founders

• Michelle, Co-Founder: Michelle is a foodie who recently discovered that not all foods are created equal. The added sugars and artificial additives found in many prepared foods took a toll on her body, and the routine of skipping breakfast, working out on an empty stomach, and eating junk on the go, was draining. With the same drive and determination that led her to success in the world of varsity athletics, academia and corporate law, she dedicated herself to the art of cooking, exploring and enjoying life. Transformed through a balanced diet and lifestyle, Michelle is excited to bring you Munk Pack, to fuel your mornings, workouts, and life goals.

• Tobias, Co-Founder: Tobias has always had an eye for innovation and a passion for wellness and community based projects. He spent a year working with a non-profit in Namibia, which provided sustainable transport and income generation through the sale of used bicycles in rural Africa. While working for a financial firm in NYC, he had the opportunity to advise and collaborate with startups across many sectors, including technology and agriculture. A man whose favorite gadget is his high-speed blender, it is not surprising that Tobias would venture into the world of foodpreneurship. Through Munk Pack, he hopes to share the wholesome goodness of his daily breakfast with anyone with an appetite!
