Don’t Go Nuts addresses consumer demand for gluten-free snacks, on-the-go eating options and school-safe nut-free foods. The company’s playfully named snack bars—Blueberry Blast, Boogie Board Bash, Celestial Campout, Gorilla Power, Lift Service and Whitewater Chomp—sport newly redesigned 12-count boxes for individual consumer purchases and 5-count boxes for increased merchandising possibilities.
“Our new packaging features more appealing design, easier-to-read messaging and product images that really convey how delicious our bars are,” said Bobby Bauer, CEO. “We know consumers have many choices in the bar aisle, and our new look and school safe benefit will quickly connect with them.”
The company’s single-serving 1.2 oz. Chocolate “dips” recently received “Best Spread” recognition from Delicious Living’s Best Bite Awards. Delicious Living editors selected products based on product formulation, ingredient sourcing, nutrition and taste.
“Our Chocolate spread is an organic alternative for consumers who enjoy chocolate spreads but are looking for better-for-you ingredients and a superior nutrition profile,” said Bauer. “We consider it a guilt-free indulgence, and since it’s nut free, our spread is safe for nut-free schools and workplaces.”
This creamy, delicious spread from Don’t Go Nuts is certified organic and gluten-free, nut free, vegan and non-GMO. Its big chocolate taste offers 2/3 less sugar, 2x more protein and 4x more fiber than the leading chocolate spread, plus B vitamins and no artificial ingredients.
In addition to Chocolate, the company’s non-GMO roasted soybean spreads also come in Simply Cinnamon, Slightly Sweet, Sea Salted and Pure Unsalted flavors. Nutrition highlights include 5 to 8 grams of protein and 4 to 5 grams of fiber per serving as well as up to 10% RDI of B vitamins.
The spreads are available in the single-serving 1.2 oz. “dips” for on-the-go-snacking, 16 oz. BPA-free plastic jars for home use and 8 lb. pails for food service applications. They’re perfect for sandwiches and pairing with apple slices, pretzels, morning toast, crepes, strawberries, bananas and more.
To ensure the highest standards of nut-free, gluten-free food safety, Don’t Go Nuts developed its proprietary Field to FingersTM Process and built its own dedicated food production facility near its headquarters in Salida, Colo.
Not only are Don’t Go Nuts foods safe and fun for consumers with peanut and tree nut allergies, they also are certified gluten free, organic, and kosher-dairy, made with non-GMO ingredients, and have undergone extensive taste testing to ensure they are delicious for all ages.
