Matt Ryan, the Retail Services Manager for INFRA- the Independent Natural Food Retailers Association, has lived his passion for supporting local, independent businesses throughout his career. He spent 10 years at Minnesota natural foods coops, most recently as an Operations Manager and a Purchasing Manager. His desire to research and develop best practices to share with other independent retailers led him to INFRA where he work with member stores to improve their internal category management and operations. Matt sees these tools as a way for the independent retailer to make the best use of their time so that they can focus on innovating and growing. In his spare time you can find Matt discovering music (new and old), reading, and playing hockey.
