Bety Javidzad successfully litigates complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts nationwide. She has significant experience in the FinTech, financial service, consumer credit, consumer product, and consumer protection industries. Her practice includes particular emphasis on contract disputes, false advertising, class action defense of TCPA and various state consumer protection law claims, business torts including fraud and business competition, and intellectual property law. Bety has extensive experience handling all aspects of the litigation, arbitration and appellate processes, with a strong track record of resolving matters for her clients through early-stage strategy and communication, negotiated settlement, mediation, trial and arbitration. She is recognized by her clients for navigating towards the most direct and efficient route to victory, and keeping the client’s best interests in mind. Bety also advises her clients on how to proactively protect themselves from litigation exposure. Prior to joining Venable, Bety was a Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP in Los Angeles. Bety also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson of the Central District of California. Bety is fluent in Farsi, and proficient in Spanish.
