Robynn Shrader has more than 25 years of experience in management, cooperative marketing, consumer brands and organizational development. She was the founding executive director for National Co+op Grocers (NCG), a business services cooperative for retail food co-ops in the United States. NCG represents 148 food co-ops operating over 200 stores in 38 states with combined annual sales of nearly $2 billion. NCG helps unify food co-ops in order to optimize operational and marketing resources, strengthen purchasing power, and ultimately offer more value to food co-op owners and shoppers everywhere. As CEO for NCG, she is involved daily with the challenges and opportunities facing retail food co-ops of varying sizes across the country.
Shrader recently served as president of Consumer Cooperatives Worldwide and served on the boards of the National Cooperative Bank and Organic Voices. Shrader currently serves on the CoMetrics board. She was named one of the "Top Women in Grocery" by Progressive Grocer magazine in 2007.
