Mrs. Lugari joined the CS at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota (Colombia) since October 2012 as a Commercial Specialist. She is responsible for the following industries as primary sectors: Medical Equipment, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare Services, Dietary Supplements, Processed Food and Beverages, and Sports Equipment. She also coordinates Social Media for USCS Colombia Mrs. Lugari worked 11 years for the Colombian Government. She had ten years of professional experience at the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs representing the country’s interests in the bilateral, regional and multilateral arena in political, trade, security, infrastructure, and energy integration areas, among others. Mrs. Lugari had the responsibility to coordinate Colombia’s participation in different regional integration negotiations and Free Trade Agreements with Latin America and the European Union. Mrs. Lugari has an undergraduate degree from Universidad de Los Andes in Political Science. She holds a postgraduate degree in Negotiation and International Relations also from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá.
